My 2 Boys will turn 2!

What's Hot

1. Planes, Trains, and Automobiles-Dylan loves to point out all the different cars we pass. We love driving by trains and the whole car shouts out, "CHOO-CHOO!"

2. COOKIES- They can eat a cookie fast! The boys love to go to the oven and look for cookies.

3. Opinions-Do you want Goldfish? No! "Prazeels" "Namils" Do you want to color? YES!

4. ART- Crayons, Markers, Stickers and more! "Co-Co"

5. OUTSIDE- We have HUGE meltdowns when we can't go outside. They love to drive their cozy coupes, hunt for acorns, draw with chalk, and maybe eat a little dirt, too.

6. Vocabulary-Their language is exploding! They both are speaking in 2 or 3 word sentences. (when they want to. They also can be lazy and whine. whine. whine.)

7. "Elmo", "Coookie, " "Asca, " "ERNIEEE"-Brody always wants an Ernie Diaper. They always ask for Elmo Movie and they fight over who gets to play with the stuffed Elmos.

8. Singing-"Ladies and Entlmens" We love to sing! Our favorite CD is Yo Gabba Gabba. We can sing all the words to all the songs! They also sing the best Jesus Loves Me and Step by Step-the worship version not NKONTB. :)

9. Being Silly-pretending to snore and sleep, rubbing "booons" on the hair, telling twin speak jokes

10. Dancing-Brody and Dylan like to do the "Running Man" (run in place) or the sway. When they are really feelin' the beat they run around the room.

11. No more Monkeys Jumpin on the BED-Their FAVORITE thing to do during nap time

12. Read books-I love listening to them read. They love to cuddle on the couch for D.E.A.R.

13. Flashcards-We practice 1st words, Animals, Numbers, Shapes, and Colors during bath time. They LOVE doing this and you will be in big trouble if you try to skip this part of the routine.

14. Counting- "2,3,4,5,6,7,8" Just got to remember 1!

15. Shapes-They love to find circles! They also can name the oval and heart. Brody even drew a circle on his Valentine and then told me "circle!"

16. McDonald's-They recognize the golden arches and don't you dare utter the M word or it is all over! Gotta love Thursday's 1.50 Happy Meals! Makes Momma very Happy!

17. The Letter Game-During our RSV breathing treatments we started a new routine of watching Wheel of Fortune. They LOVE it and call out all the letters. "T"

18. Meltdowns and Tantrums-Hellloooo 2!

19. "No, No Mama!"-Brody likes to tell Mama, Dada, and "DEEAN" what not to do.

20. coloring on the couch-Dylan did this with a smile today while looking at me saying no!

21. eye drops-forget about it! They hate this!I hate doing it to them!

22. bumps and bruises-We are running now and with this comes falling flat on our face and scraping up the nose. OUCH!

Yes...my sweet little babies are now sweet big boys.

I am so proud it makes my heart hurt a little bit.

I love them to pieces!

For 10 years we have been Valentines. For the last 7 years I am always SICK. (I have been teaching for the last 7 years...which is why I am always sick!)

This year CUPID brought me strep and My Valentine has taken care of my sweet LOVE BUGS for days while I have been quarantined. The care has been excellent complete with Smoothies and Milkshakes!
